I lost my FOB. What do I do?
If a fob has been lost or stolen, it important to report it to the concierge or office immediately. It must be identified and deactivated for security purposes.
If you do not know the serial number of your lost/stolen fob, we must scan your remaining fobs to identify which serial number we will need to deactivate. You will need to bring your remaining fobs to the office so this procedure can take place.
If you are an owner or legal representative, you can purchase a fob at the front desk of Tower A (Please note that the processing time might take between 2 – 4 hours). You can also find the request form online at www.espanacondos.com and email it to [email protected].
If you are a tenant or agent, you need a written authorization from the owner or legal representative of your unit. Please email this authorization to [email protected];
Once the authorization is received, the España Office can proceed with replacing your fob.
The cost of obtaining new fobs are as follows:
Parkade $100
Proximity $50
Trade in $60
My parkade fob is not opening the garage doors. What should I do?
When parkade fobs start failing it is most likely due to one of two reasons:
1. Batteries need to be replaced:
· If it is a grey fob, the battery reference is 2032 and can be purchased in any store where batteries are sold such as Shoppers, Walmart, Staples, etc.
· If it is a black fob, the battery reference is 2016 and can be purchased in any store where batteries are sold such as Shoppers, Walmart, Staples, etc.
2. You might need to upgrade your parkade fob:
If you have a light grey parkade fob and replacing the batteries did not solve your problem, you will need to upgrade to the newer parkade fob model. This model has superior frequency and works much better than the grey fob.
If you want to upgrade your fob, you can trade your old model for the new one and pay $60, or if you want to keep the old model as a proximity fob and get a new one the price is $100.
Please note that tenants need a written authorization by email from their landlords before upgrading their fobs.
How do I set up my buzzer/enterphone?
Residents are welcome to set up their enterphone by downloading a form at http://www.espanacondos.com/enterphone-form.html and then sending it to [email protected].
You can also apply in person at the front desk in Tower A.
Please be aware that it takes 1 business day from the time we receive your request form to set up this service. This all comes at no cost.
Note: Verify that the phone number and name you want to be listed in the directory is correct before sending your application.
