Key Fobs
All keys and fobs at the España are registered and issued through the Building Manager's office. All fobs have a serial number which is recorded and assigned to a specific unit.
Owners at the España are required to register all fobs in their possession upon receipt and annually. Failure to register a fob may result in deactivation of the fob. It is very important for all owners to keep fob records up to date. Please notify Pacific Quorum immediately of any changes in status of current persons/tenants/agents with fobs. Please also notify Pacific Quorum of any owner contact information changes. These are building security measures.
Fobs cannot be purchased by a tenant or agent until permission is obtained in writing or by email from the unit's registered owner, as listed on the official España owner's list on file with Pacific Quorum, the España property management agency. Owner's can authorize agents to be their legal representatives by sending or emailing a letter of permission to Pacific Quorum.
Tenants must also have a completed Form K on file with Pacific Quorum before an additional fob can be purchased. A Form K can be found below.
Once the above is in place, the Building Manager can issue additional fobs and keys.
Newer model black fobs (access to common doorways and parking gates) can be purchased for $100. If an older model grey-colored fob is traded in exchange, the cost drops to $60.
Small black proximity fobs (access to common doorways only, not parking gates) cost $50.
If a fob has been lost or stolen, it must be identified through the serial number and deactivated before a new purchase can take place.
Payment can be made either by Visa, MasterCard, cheque or cash. Please make cheques payable to BCS 3437.
